Dear Friends,

NOVA Center for the Performing Arts has been continuing to grow and flourish in the Billings community since 2013. We couldn’t do this without the strong support of our employees, volunteers, corporate sponsors, individual donors, audiences, and downtown family of businesses. We graciously invite you to join us for a show, a fundraiser, or become a sustaining member of the theater.

Our mission is to enhance the performing arts culture of the greater Billings region through ed improv comedy, opera and a youth conservatory under one roof. We are proud to be in downtown Billings where we all come to enjoy entertainment, food, drink, and gather in a vibrant community. We are here to continue our mission and look forward to continued success of these programs.

Although we have had setbacks from the pandemic, the strength of our community has provided us with the fortitude to pull through these times when the theater remained dark. We appreciate everything that everyone has done to allow us to move into a new year with a new season packed with excellent entertainment for you to enjoy. We look forward to greeting you at the theater once again!

NOVA is amazing because of the dedicated staff, cast, directors, and volunteers. We are always looking for more volunteers to help with the many tasks that are required to maintain our building and two theaters. Open cast calls are always published and we invite you to try out even if you don’t think you can do it! Shows also need a lot of volunteers to help make the shows a success, so if acting or singing isn’t your talent, we have plenty to do behind the scenes.

I would like to personally thank our previous President, Lucinda Stearns Butler, for her amazing leadership and dedication to the mission here at NOVA. I have been very lucky to have served with a dedicated Board of Directors, and I hope to continue the forward momentum as NOVA’s new President.
